A moi ledger has to be right for years.

Moi is a reciprocal obligation. When a guest hosts a function later, the family returns an equal or larger amount, so every name, village and amount in the book must be accurate and searchable. Handwritten notebooks get lost, are hard to search and cannot be tallied quickly. eMoi keeps every entry safe and counts it for you.

Frequently asked questions

Does eMoi work without internet in the hall?

Yes. Entries are saved on the phone and synced when a signal is available. Totals and receipts never wait for the network.

Which printer do I need?

Any 58mm Bluetooth ESC/POS thermal printer, for example the RPP02. Tamil text is printed as an image.

What if a writer makes a mistake?

Entries can be edited with a reason, and the earlier version is kept. Voided or deleted entries leave the totals but stay listed, and every change is in the audit log.

How are tokens charged?

Creating a function uses one token. Buy 1 for ₹1,000, 10 for ₹8,000 or 50 for ₹30,000.

Is guest data safe?

Guests share only what a paper ledger holds: name, relation, village, designation and an optional phone number. Data is stored in Google Cloud in India over HTTPS.

Can the family see the counters live?

Yes. The partner dashboard shows live totals by counter, village and payment mode, plus tally and sign-off status.
